South London Residential Garden

This design was very much based on it having an arts and crafts feel. It’s a project that was completed in Spring 2025. The main purpose for this design and why we wanted to build this garden was that the clients wanted a garden they could use. Keen gardeners themselves, they wanted to have a space where they could grow their own vegetables and essentially a functioning and practical working garden. 

The original garden was large and was anchored by these two, very large, very beautiful old Pear trees. We wanted to make a garden that would be full of life as well as something that’s constantly changing.

The planting will be done in stages but all the trees planted will be bird friendly and full of fruit. The materials on this project chosen are all reclaimed and we also re-used a lot of existing materials that we already had on-site such as aged zinc troughs planted with wildflowers.
