South London Residential Garden [In Progress]

This is a project that’s currently in construction, the existing garden had a huge sloped lawn and we really wanted to try and level it out. The existing paving was yorkstone which I was really keen to keep and re-purpose to make a new raised terrace at the back of the house.

This garden the clients were really keen to have a garden they could use, learn more about gardening and become a family space. We used reclaimed railway sleepers for the retaining walls and will be planted up with a focus on edible plants and trees good for wildlife.

Amongst the garden we will install and plant up some rusted meta planters to section off the garden and create different rooms. This also makes a garden feel like one you want to explore as you go through each section.
