South London Garden

This project was designed for a client who is a keen gardener, we wanted to create a space that was fun and more accessible to travel through whilst at the same time offering interest and give a reason to move through the different rooms in the garden.

We introduced hardwood decking platforms, moving through the space and dealing with the level changes. We also introduced a simple and practical solution for replacing a large pond whilst still offering a home for wildlife and invertebrates.

The planting, that will not be irrigated will focus around drought and heat tolerant species, introducing texture and form that will work in the space and work with the fun elements of the design.

Water will be harvested from the roof of the new shed that will water the garden in dry spells.

This is a project we hope to complete in Summer of 2026.
